I love spending time with family. I used to take them on vacations once in a year, and local outings are a common routine of our lives. This keeps the kids happy, and me and wife feel satisfied by seeing them enjoy. We visited Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a German state, few years back to show kids the Müritz National Park. The kids enjoyed the park, but there were not more options for them. It is a peaceful city with natural attractions, perfect for a romantic escape.
This holidays the kids asked to visit their grandparents, so I made a plan to drop them to their grandparents and visit Mecklenburg-Vorpommern again with my wife. Me and my wife reached the place on Friday evening and stayed in the same castle hotel (Schlosshotel), we booked last time. I really liked that hotel for its art and architecture and royal guest services. The spacious rooms were equipped with all the modern amenities like laptop safe, LCD, Wi-Fi connection, and more.
The huge green garden with tall trees and colourful flowers were perfect for a romantic evening walk. I really appreciate the idea of preserving ancient castle (Schloss) in the form of hotels. This let the guests experience the taste of royalty. The great piano, long dinning hall, high ceilings, and spacious rooms with innovative interiors were just amazing.
We also enjoyed boating and sunrise at lakes and a ride of the city on bicycle. It was a great experience.
